Kit contains Main and Pinion Gears. 3.25:1 Higher Speed Gear Ratio (over standard 2.8:1 Ratio) As a replacement for the 5-115 and 13-114H gears by Penn. *** You must clean the spool shaft! ***
PINIONS will be snug by design on the I.D.. Shaft on the spool must be cleaned! Any corrosion or build up on the spool shaft will prevent installation. Use steel wool and light reel oil on the spool shaft prior to installing the pinion gear onto the spool shaft.
