Common Repair Problems - Conventional Reels
114H and 114H-LH Design Changes - Versions over the years
Standard 114H Versions
114H W/POSTS: All the older versions of the 114H reel had metal posts as framework.
114H HALF Frame w/stand: This version has a molded frame, in which the reel stand is part of the frame. The frame is not a complete circle; it only comes halfway around the spool.
114H FULL Frame: This version has a molded frame. The reel stand is a separate piece, as it was in the older versions of the 114H. The frame is a full circle around the spool. Older 114H reels can be converted to this frame.
We use color coding on the Stock Item bar for this reel to show which parts are used with which version. Many are used for all three versions of the reel.
