HOUSING BUSHINGS These use plastic bushings as a default in manufacture of the reels

These bushings can be subbed over to ball bearings

QTY 1 of part 20D-5000BTL BALL BEARING is replacing the stock part plastic bushing 20B-WRTH2500
this one replaces the one in the housing itself under the main gear.
QTY 1 of part 20-CFT3000 BALL BEARING is replacing the stock part plastic bushing 20-WRTH2500
this one goes on the wide end of the main gear in the housing cover, it's the thicker of the two bearings

MysticParts has found that QTY 2 x 20B-7000PUR BALL BEARING (ORDER 2 of these) to replace the 20B-WRTH8000 plastic bushings on both sides of the housing

If you do not find what you are looking for do a Google search with Mystic Reel Parts in the search with your model. I have a Penn 285 and 9 and it took me to the exact page for both. Also have the reel schematics.

I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly. To my delight I got a personalized and VERY helpful response right away. She asked questions to fully understand my needs and then followed up with links to the right parts. We continued our email exchange regarding my second reel issue and, again, she was extremely knowledgeable and gave me both practical as well as professional solutions.
