LIVE LINER DRAG ADJUSTMENT
The rear Live Liner drag is factory set for optimal drag pressures for the majority of anglers.
However, if your fishing situation requires higher or lower pressures, follow these instructions to adjust accordingly.
Ensure the lever is in the "OFF" position.
Remove the rear gold and black metal butt cap by turning counter-clockwise. This can be done by hand with no tools required. This will expose the black adjustment screw.
Turn the screw with the included tool clockwise to increase drag or counter-clockwise to decrease drag.
( *Note: Turning the screw too far out will cause it to come loose. )
Test drag settings in all four settings to ensure proper pressures.
Re-install rear metal butt cap by turning clockwise onto the reel.
( *Note: There is a rubber washer that will prevent this cap backing off. Only hand tighten, and do not over tighten with wrench. )
Periodically check during fishing to ensure cap remains tight after re-installation.
