On PG1000, PG1500, PG2000 reels: Used in conjunction with the 15N-2000CV newer handle (this is the only time the new handle is used with the old screw, to make the handle work with the PG reels).
On the CV500 reel: If you are replacing the original 15-500CV handle, you will also need the 233N-500CV bearing cover with attached screw and 233A-500CV handle washer. The original 233-500CV used the separate 15B-500CV screw, which is not compatible with the newer handle. Make sure that the 15A-500CV handle retaining bushing is not also missing.
On the CV2000 reel: If you are replacing the original 15-2000CV handle, you will also need the 233N-2000CV bearing cover with attached screw and 233A-2000CV handle washer. I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly. To my delight I got a personalized and VERY helpful response right away. She asked questions to fully understand my needs and then followed up with links to the right parts. We continued our email exchange regarding my second reel issue and, again, she was extremely knowledgeable and gave me both practical as well as professional solutions.
