WARNING! This handle is for the first run 550SS models, where the shaft of the pivot was a hollow hexagonal shape, which slide into the hexagonal shaped shaft in the original first run main gear, then was secured by a screw on the other side.
It WILL NOT fit on the later models where the handle screws directly into the main gear.
ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES:
When seated on the reel, on this style handle, the handle collar will NOT seat inside the open bearing cover like the original handle did. Instead, it should seat flush to the collar. Use the 2 larger washers to adjust this if needed.
